Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room I stayed in faced into the hot tub/beer garden area, which was loud and rowdy, feeling like a wild party spot with no staff control. The limited parking was also a letdown, especially when expecting a Loch view. The room itself was chilly and in need of a revamp.
The hotel room should be closed down due to its poor condition, however, the armchair in the room was a pleasant touch. Despite the outdated and uncomfortable room, it had a cozy and surprisingly comfortable atmosphere for a brief stay.
The hotel staff was helpful and accommodating, but the rooms were a bit small and lacked insulation, making conversations from neighboring rooms audible. The service was commendable, with a friendly and helpful team, though language barriers could be challenging at times. The location offered easy access to nearby attractions but faced parking issues when large groups arrived. The dining experience was decent but portion sizes left something to be desired. Despite some drawbacks, the hotel's pet-friendly environment and beautiful scenery were highlights.
